The wooden lure body has been shaped, sanded, drilled, and sealed - it is ready for primer and paint. The kit will also include all the grommets, wire, eyes, hooks, and other components needed to complete the build. All you need is a little time and some fairly simple hand tools. They require substantially more work to glue the weights in, re-drill through the weights (for the wire), sand, fill, sand again, etc. Belly-weighted needlefish end up in the trash more frequently than any other lure we build, so we don’t want you to have to worry about those same troubles.
