The Luscombe 8F Silvaire is a highly popular, all-metal taildragger produced from the late 1940s through the 1960s . Powered by a 90 hp Continental C-90 engine, the 2-seat aircraft offers a zippy cruise speed of roughly 120 mph and a strong rate of climb, remaining a beloved vintage personal aircraft. A total of 80 Luscombe 8F Silvaire aircraft were built. These were manufactured between 1956 and 1960 by Silvaire Uranium and Aircraft Corp.
