70% ultrafine mohair / 30% soie/silk Two strands of mulberry silk hold the mohair fibres in place to add radiance and strength. Gentle enough for next to skin wear. This is a super light and airy yarn and can be worked at many different gauges. It produces gossamer-like items when large needles or hooks are used and soft, fluffy items at tigher gauges. It can also be carried with another yarn to add a delicate haze and to produce a surprisingly warm fabric. Superkid mohair has a natural pearly lustre and dyes beautifully. 50g = 420m (459 yds) Recommended needle size: 3-4mm 32 mailles/stitches, 40 rangs/rows = 10cm (4”) sur/on 3.25mm (US3) Hand dyed yarn can very from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. Please take care to purchase enough yarn to complete your project. Although this yarn contains superwash merino, it is recommended that knitwear is hand washed.
