Read our full review. Dual-Mono Parallel Architecture The X8 features eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips in a true dual-mono parallel architecture, with four DACs operating in parallel per channel. Left and right channels are fully independent in power supply, circuit layout, and signal path, minimizing crosstalk and interference. The parallel analog outputs are precisely summed to reduce noise and improve dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio, and low-level detail, resulting in stable imaging and clear spatial presentation. A dedicated high-speed data buffering and distribution circuit ensures all DACs operate within the same reference clock domain, maintaining precise synchronization and preventing timing mismatch. Each of the eight CS43198 DACs is equipped with a custom shielding cover,which isolates the DACs from digital circuitry and high-frequency interference while assisting heat dissipation and thermal balance.
