Hand picked from legacy, untended fig tree patches in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. These trees produce few fruits but great leaves. While the leaves are useful as wraps and other p urposes, the intense coconut-vanilla-herbaceous flavor is heightened by grinding the leaves FIRST with sugar before infusing in water or milk. Please note: white drops of the milky sap may spot the leaves when stems are cut.
