The LX Pump Seal Assembly -- for 48WUA and 56WUA (LX-SEAL) is a replacement mechanical shaft seal assembly for LX brand 48-frame and 56-frame spa pumps (48WUA and 56WUA series). Th e shaft seal prevents water from leaking along the motor shaft into the motor. Replace when water is dripping from the pump shaft area (between the motor and wet end).
