After a decade of accumulating clothes, objects, hardboards, and with a growing sense of frustration with figurative painting, I decided to stop buying art materials until all this accumulation was used up, with Donna Haraway’s mantra in mind: “stay with the trouble”. In this new moment of my journey, movements like Supports/Surfaces, Neo-concretism, Arte Povera or Minimalism have become guides. Following the path of Lygia Clarck, understanding her way to make art and to approach aesthetics was a stepping stone.
