Sculpted in wax and cast in recycled gold, Lyra’s Promise translates cosmic narrative into an intimate, wearable form. The Story Lyra’s Promise draws on the constellation Lyra, named after the harp of Orpheus—whose music was said to move the heavens. This piece forms part of Annie King’s exploration of cosmic interconnectedness and the poetic systems that bind myth, matter, and memory. The sculptural engagement ring holds a pink lab-grown diamond, while the accompanying curved band traces its contour with pink sapphires—suggesting orbit, resonance, and the quiet architecture of partnership. Together, the rings exist as a paired object: distinct yet interdependent.
