LYRA’S HYMN QUILT Lyra’s Hymn quilt is the fourth design in the Constellations Series. This modern star quilt is inspired by the Lyra Constellation which is represents the Lyre of Orpheus from the ancient Greek myth. To me, the shape of the constellation resembled wide windmill blades, and I used that shape to give the star a sense of movement. Lyra’s Hymn is a modern foundation paper pieced star quilt pattern.
