Milk and Honey Distillery is Israel's first whisky distillery, located in Tel Aviv. Established in 2014, it's known for its innovative approach to whisky production, taking advantage of the country's unique climate to mature whisky at an accelerated rate. They produce a range of single malt whiskies, often featuring fruity and Mediterranean-inspired flavors. The distillery has garnered attention in the global whisky scene for its pioneering spirit and commitment to crafting quality Israeli whisky. This specific release has been aged in a very old Jamaican rum cask giving this whisky a fruit basket to the face of tropical flavours. Nose: Tropical fruit – bold banana, juicy pineapple, melon and funky esters. Palate: Further rum character with punchy bittersweet dried fruits, exotic fresh fruits, and wafts of earthy leather, followed by an increasing zesty spice. Finish: Banana fritters, grilled pineapple with pepper, and a woody drying finish.
