The latest batch of "M-Kite" designs for Wild Things aim to push the boundaries of performance by incorporating contemporary curves and exaggerated bottom contours. These boards have been specifically tailored for Australian conditions and the ongoing quest to blend alternative performance with daily usability.This design features slightly narrower nose and tail outlines while maintaining the classic parallel templates, Rail Vee’s and foil characteristic of the Kite. This evolution follows on from the "East" project, incorporating extensive feedback and time spent refining the shapes in the bay over the last 6 months - It is a natural progression from my personal surfing into this latest production and reflection of what myself and contemporary’s are currently riding.Furthermore, the use of Innegra composite glass layup enhances spring and stored energy flex, significantly increasing the board's agility and reactionary response under load. My goal remains to harmonise fins, contours and flex with a direction that keeps one foot in the past and one foot in modern performance—creating a hybrid blend beneath your feet for an engaging ride on the waves surface.EE
