The powerfully expressive chorale movements in Johann Sebastian Bach’s St Matthew Passion lend themselves to Passiontide church services, also involving the congregation in the sin ging. This edition contains the 12 chorale movements from the St Matthew Passion (with further verses from the chorales) and suggestions for readings between the movements.
