M3 Brass Phillips Countersunk Screws — Solid Brass Flat Head Fasteners for Woodworking, Marine & Vintage Restoration When ordinary steel screws would look out of place, these solid brass M3 countersunk screws deliver both performance and visual warmth. The 90° flat head sinks flush into a pre-drilled countersink, leaving a smooth, snag-free surface — ideal for decorative woodworking, antique restoration, instrument repair, and marine electrical panels where appearance matters as much as function. Brass is naturally corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic, and electrically conductive, developing a beautiful natural patina over time. Available in eight lengths from 5mm to 25mm (measured under the head to the tip), all fully threaded for maximum grip in shallow holes. Thread diameter is M3 (3mm nominal, 0.5mm pitch). Phillips cross drive works with standard PH1 screwdrivers and power driver bits. Bulk packs of 10 to 100 pieces available — select your quantity from the dropdown. Typical applications include securing decorative cabinet hinges and drawer pulls, mounting instrument panels and clock mechanisms, fitting boat fittings and dock hardware, assembling electronics enclosures, and any project where the warm gold tone of brass is preferred over steel. 🔩 Compatibility: ISO metric coarse thread M3 × 0.5mm pitch. Phillips driver: PH1. Suitable for wood, soft metals, and plastics. Not compatible with UNC/UNF inch threads. For structural or high-load applications, use steel fasteners. ⚠️ Length Note: Length is measured from the underside of the head to the tip (grip length / under-head length). The flat head is not included in the stated length. A countersink hole is required for a flush finish. ✅ Key Features of These M3 Brass Countersunk Phillips Screws 🔽90° Countersunk Flat Head: Designed to sit flush with or below the mating surface when installed in a properly countersunk hole. Eliminates snag points on panels, lids, and trim — ideal for a clean, professional finish on wood and soft metals. 🪣Solid Brass Construction: Naturally corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic, and electrically conductive. Develops an attractive natural patina over time — perfect for vintage, marine, and decorative applications where steel would look wrong. 🔧Phillips Cross Drive (PH1): Standard cross recess provides good torque transfer with reduced cam-out compared to slotted drives. Compatible with common screwdrivers and power driver bits. 📐Eight Length Options, Fully Threaded: Available in M3×5, M3×6, M3×8, M3×10, M3×12, M3×16, M3×20, and M3×25mm. All fully threaded from under the head to the tip for maximum grip in blind holes or when used with nuts. ✨Smooth, Burr-Free Finish: Precision machined threads for consistent fastening torque. No sharp edges that could damage surrounding materials or scratch finished surfaces. 📦Flexible Pack Quantities: Available in 10, 20, 30, 50, or 100 pieces. Buy 10 pcs for a single repair or 100 pcs for workshop restocking — the per-unit cost decreases with larger quantities. 🎯 Who Is This For? 🪚 Woodworkers & Cabinet Makers Fit decorative hinges, drawer pulls, and cabinet hardware with M3 brass screws. The warm gold tone complements natural wood finishes and the flush head keeps surfaces smooth. ⏱️ Instrument & Antique Restorers Secure clock mechanisms, musical instrument fittings, and antique hardware with period-appropriate brass fasteners. Brass matches original hardware and resists corrosion without surface treatments. ⛵ Marine & Outdoor Builders Fit boat fittings, dock hardware, and outdoor furniture with corrosion-resistant brass screws. Brass performs well in saltwater and fresh water environments without rusting. 🔌 Electronics & Enclosure Assemblers Mount PCBs, secure enclosure panels, and assemble electrical connections with non-magnetic, conductive brass screws. Ideal where steel fasteners could interfere with sensitive components. Yes. For the head to sit perfectly flush with the surface, drill a matching 90° countersink hole using a countersink bit slightly larger than the screw head diameter. In very soft wood you can sometimes press the head in, but proper countersinking gives a cleaner result and prevents splitting. How is the length of a countersunk screw measured? For countersunk flat head screws, the length is measured from the underside of the head to the tip (grip length). The head itself is not included. An “M3 × 10mm” screw has a 10mm threaded portion under the head. This is the standard measurement method and matches our listings. Are these screws fully threaded? Yes — all sizes from M3×5 to M3×25 are fully threaded from under the head to the tip, giving maximum grip in blind holes or when used with nuts. Will brass screws rust or tarnish over time? Brass does not rust (it contains no iron). It may develop a natural patina — first darkening, then sometimes turning greenish (verdigris) in humid or marine environments. Many people prefer this aged look for vintage projects. To keep them shiny, apply a clear lacquer or polish periodically. Can I use these screws in marine or outdoor applications? Yes — brass is corrosion-resistant in saltwater and fresh water, making it a good choice for boat fittings and outdoor furniture. Avoid direct contact with aluminum or galvanized steel in wet conditions, as galvanic corrosion can occur. Use isolation washers or dielectric grease if mixing metals. Are these screws strong enough for furniture assembly? Brass is softer than steel, so these screws are best for light to medium duty applications — decorative hinges, small drawer pulls, instrument mounting, or electrical connections. For heavy structural loads such as bed frames or shelving, use steel screws. For most furniture accents and light assembly, brass is perfectly adequate and looks beautiful. Do these screws come with matching brass nuts or washers? This listing is for screws only. We also sell brass hex nuts and flat washers separately — check our store for M3 brass hardware. Using brass nuts with brass screws ensures no galvanic issues and a consistent appearance. 🛒 Select your length and quantity above, then add to cart.
