Description Atom DTU LoRaWAN-EU868 is a programmable LoRaWAN data transmission unit for the EU868 frequency band. Built around the STM32WLE5 solution, it combines long-range wireless communication, low power consumption, high sensitivity, UART AT command control, and RS485 wired connectivity in an Atomic-series base form factor. The built-in LoRaWAN protocol stack supports Class A, Class B, and Class C operation modes, with OTAA and ABP activation for connecting to LoRaWAN server platforms such as TTN, ChirpStack, Actility, and Tencent Cloud. Atom DTU LoRaWAN-EU868 also supports LoRa P2P communication, allowing direct device-to-device data exchange without a gateway when a private point-to-point link is required. For field deployment, the base includes a high-sensitivity stick antenna, an HT3.96-4P wiring terminal, LEGO-compatible mounting holes, and a 35mm DIN-rail mounting slot. Atom DTU LoRaWAN-EU868 is suitable for smart agriculture, industrial monitoring, environmental monitoring nodes, and long-range low-power IoT data collection in regions that use the EU868 band. Features EU868 band support: designed for the EU868 band and 868 to 870MHz LoRaWAN deployments. STM32WLE5 LoRa solution: integrates 256KB flash and 64KB RAM for LoRaWAN DTU applications. LoRaWAN 1.0.3 protocol: supports Class A, Class B, Class C, OTAA, and ABP activation modes. Flexible communication: supports LoRaWAN mode, LoRa P2P mode, UART serial AT commands, and RS485 communication. Industrial installation: DIN-rail slot, LEGO-compatible mounting holes, wiring terminal, and stick antenna support cabinet or field-device deployment. Development support: the DTU base can be used with Arduino IDE, UiFlow1, and UiFlow2 workflows.
