Description The M5Stack DinMeter v1.1 is a compact 1/32 DIN meter controller built with the upgraded M5StampS3A main control module. It is designed for panel-mounted embedded instrumentation, industrial control cabinets and PLC control boxes where a small display and rotary input need to fit a standard 45 x 22.5mm cutout. This DIN meter integrates a 1.14-inch ST7789 display, rotary encoder with button, RTC, buzzer, function buttons, USB / DC / battery power options and PORT.A / PORT.B expansion interfaces for I2C and GPIO peripherals. The wide 6 ~ 36V DC input and rechargeable lithium battery interface make DinMeter v1.1 suitable for monitoring, access control, smart home and DIY control panels. Features Compact 1/32 DIN standard form factor for 45 x 22.5mm panel openings. M5StampS3A main controller based on ESP32-S3FN8. 1.14-inch ST7789 display with 135 x 240 resolution. Rotary encoder with button for position tracking and interactive control. RTC real-time clock, buzzer and function buttons for wake-up and timed reminders. Wide 6 ~ 36V DC input, USB power and rechargeable lithium battery interface. Reserved PORT.A and PORT.B expansion interfaces for I2C and GPIO peripherals. Two mounting methods: double-sided adhesive and screw hole fixation. Development support for UiFlow2, Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF and PlatformIO. Product List 1 x DinMeter v1.1 1 x 250mAh Polymer Lithium Battery 1 x 2.54-2P Terminal 1 x Plastic Back Clip 1 x Adhesive Tape 1 x Pin Sticker Other Content Operation Instructions When powered only by the battery, DinMeter v1.1 can wake by pressing the WAKE button or through an RTC scheduled interrupt. After wake-up, set HOLD (GPIO46) high to maintain power. When there is no USB external power, the device can power off by pressing RST or by setting HOLD (GPIO46) low in software to cut battery power. To enter download mode, hold the G0 button on the M5StampS3A before power-on, then release it after power is applied. For RGB LED control, the documentation states that GPIO38 must be set high before operating the RGB LED because Stamp-S3A adds an independent electronic switch for RGB LED power. The device provides three power supply methods: USB, DC and battery. Software and EasyLoader The documentation provides Arduino and UiFlow2 quick starts, an Arduino driver library, factory firmware and a DinMeter User Demo EasyLoader. The product comparison notes that DinMeter v1.1 upgrades the main controller to Stamp-S3A compared with the previous DinMeter using Stamp-S3.
