Description Unit INA226-1A is a fully isolated high-precision current, voltage, and power measurement unit for DC electrical parameter acquisition. It is designed for measuring DC 0-30V voltage and up to +/-1A bidirectional current. The unit uses the INA226 high-precision bidirectional current and power monitor IC. Through the I2C communication interface, a host controller can read current, voltage, and power values from Unit INA226-1A across multiple M5Stack-compatible development platforms. For measurement safety and noise resistance, the module integrates an isolated power module and an I2C signal isolator, creating electrical isolation between the measurement side and the main control side. Notes The module includes a self-resetting fuse. When the current range is exceeded, the fuse can trip automatically to help protect equipment and personnel. Features High-precision monitoring: integrated INA226 16-bit current and power monitor for voltage, current, and power measurement. 1A bidirectional current range: Unit INA226-1A supports +/-1A bidirectional current measurement. Wide voltage input: supports DC 0-30V voltage detection for common power rails and DC loads. I2C interface: communicates over I2C at address 0x41 for controller-side data acquisition. Electrical isolation: isolated power and signal paths separate the measurement side from the host control side. Safety protection: self-resetting fuse protection helps reduce risk when the current range is exceeded. Development support: Arduino tutorial, Arduino test program, and Home Assistant integration are available.
