Description The Unit LoRaWAN-CN470 is a LoRaWAN communication module built for the CN470 band, using the STM32WLE5 solution for long-distance, low-power IoT communication. The Unit LoRaWAN-CN470 integrates a LoRaWAN protocol stack and supports Class A, Class B, and Class C operating modes for different downlink latency and power-consumption needs. With UART AT-command control, OTAA and ABP activation, LoRa point-to-point communication, and a high-sensitivity rubber duck antenna, the Unit LoRaWAN-CN470 can act as a collection node connected to a gateway or support direct device-to-device communication when a gateway is not required. The Unit LoRaWAN-CN470 is suited for smart agriculture, industrial monitoring, environmental monitoring nodes, and long-range sensor deployments. Notice: The CN470 version is designed for China and other regions using the CN470 band from 470-510 MHz. Confirm local LoRaWAN frequency regulations and gateway support before deployment. Product List 1 Unit LoRaWAN-CN470 1 HY2.0-4P Grove Cable (20cm) 1 Rubber Duck Antenna (@0.5dBi, total length 195mm, SMA male) Other Content The Unit LoRaWAN-CN470 uses PORT.C for UART communication: black is GND, red is 5V, yellow is UART_RX, and white is UART_TX. The UART interface and AT-command manual are useful for host-controller integration, automated provisioning, and application firmware development. LoRaWAN Class A provides the lowest downlink real-time performance and the lowest power consumption for periodic upload nodes. Class B provides medium downlink timing and medium power consumption for scheduled control devices. Class C provides the highest downlink real-time performance and the highest power consumption for real-time control, including industrial automation. Compared with the older LoRaWAN470 unit, the Unit LoRaWAN-CN470 uses STM32WLE5, supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3 with Class A/B/C, provides up to 22 dBm transmit power, and supports both LoRaWAN and P2P communication modes.
