M5Stack Unit PoE‑P4 is a next‑generation PoE Ethernet controller built on the powerful ESP32‑P4 SoC (RISC‑V 32‑bit dual‑core @ 360MHz + LP single‑core @ 40MHz). It comes with 16MB Flash and 32MB PSRAM, plus an integrated IP101GRI Ethernet PHY supporting 10/100 Mbps networking. The Unit PoE delivers PoE power output up to 6W with an onboard DC‑DC converter, simplifying cabling and power management in M5Stack projects. Designed for expansion, the Unit PoE‑P4 includes a 24P FPC display interface (MIPI DSI + TP + BL) and a 24P FPC camera interface (MIPI CSI), enabling high‑resolution display and image capture. It also provides USB Type‑C Host (USB 2.0) for peripherals such as U disks and HID devices, along with a USB Type‑C OTG/debug port for firmware updates. Additional expansion options include a Hat interface, SDIO & ISP IO connectors, and a Grove port, offering flexible integration with sensors and modules. The controller integrates an RGB LED indicator, infrared transmitter, and user button for local interaction and signal output. It is well‑suited for industrial HMI systems, PoE smart terminals, vision acquisition nodes, smart home automation, and edge computing devices within the M5Stack ecosystem.
