StickS3 is a miniature, high‑performance programmable controller built for remote operation and IoT development. At its core is the ESP32‑S3‑PICO‑1‑N8R8, delivering 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi connectivity plus 8MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM for demanding applications—offering robust speed and room to scale. For HMI tasks, it includes a 1.14" LCD, a 6‑axis IMU, and programmable buttons. Audio is powered by the ES8311 mono codec with a high‑sensitivity MEMS mic and AW8737 amplifier, enabling clean voice capture and rich playback—ideal for voice control and interactive UX. It also integrates an IR transmitter/receiver and a 250mAh Li‑ion battery, making it a great fit for smart home control, AI voice assistants, and portable IoT prototypes. Input Power Supply Notice The bottom Grove port can be set to DC 5V output or input. By default it’s in input mode, allowing DC 5V power via the Grove interface, the top Hat2‑Bus EXT_5V, or the 5VIN input. When switched to output mode, power must come from USB or the top Hat2‑Bus 5VIN only. Supplying power from other output ports may cause a short circuit and damage the device. IR Reception Notice For reliable IR reception, ensure the speaker power amplifier is disabled; otherwise, incoming IR signals may not be detected correctly. Speaker Volume Notice When running on battery (USB disconnected), keep the speaker volume at 75% or lower to prevent unexpected reboots due to excessive power draw.
