Viewing Head The trinocular viewing head has a comfortable 45° incline for viewing while seated or standing, and can be swiveled 360°. The trinocular photo-port adds a dedicated mounting tube for cameras. The 23mm tube is height-adjustable to fine-tune the focus to match the eyepieces. The Abbe light condenser has a high 1.25 numerical aperture for oil-immersion, and an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and depth-of-field. The condenser holder uses rack-and-pinion height adjustment for precision control. A sub-stage mirror is included as an alternate light source when electricity is not available. The mirror can be mounted on top of the illuminator’s field lens to direct ambient light into the condenser.
