finely polished, the amulet in the shape of a ram's head with long curled horns, elongated face, the pierced attachment hole cleverly mark the eyes. Condition: Small tip of right h orn worn/missing otherwise intact and in very good condition overall. A truly charming piece. Shipped with our magnetic suspension box for protection and display. Dimensions: height: 1.4 cm (.55 inches), width: 4 cm (1.57 inches) Provenance: Forming part of the James Stephan Snr. collection, assembled in the late 1960's and then by descent. Dr. Stephan was a US intelligence officer who also held a degree in archaeology. He was posted in the Anatolian region of Turkey with the US government during this time, and acquired his collection from dealers and villagers throughout the region. Show more
