This lure catches Mac Nut borer C ombradelta and other moths for use with sticky traps for regular monitoring. Used for early warning of infestation and to inform IPM strategies. M acadamia nutborer (Cryptophlebia ombradelta) pheromone lures are used to attract the male borer to the sticky trap. Regular monitoring via the traps gives an early warning of a Mac borer infestation. The traps also exhibit the density of the insect population to inform successful IPM strategies.
