The Macallan TIME: SPACE features second unique release, which houses The Macallan's oldest and youngest whisky to celebrate past and future of the distillery. TIME: SPACE is limited to just 200 bottles - one year for every year of The Macallan's existence - and features an exceptionally rare 1940 vintage, bottled in 2024. Matured for over eight decades, at 84 years old it is the oldest whisky ever released by The Macallan. Paired with this is the inaugural whisky from The Macallan Distillery which opened in 2018, a five-year-old single malt matured in sherry seasoned casks. The vessel for TIME : SPACE is a ground-breaking dual chamber where the exceptional whiskies form the heart of the piece. The vessel is housed in a wood sculpture made of American and European oak, with a bold, 200-spike design that represents nature’s protection. Only 200 bottles exist, one for each year of The Macallan's existence.
