Macaloid supplies SiO2, Al2O3, MgO, CaO, Na2O, Li2O, and Fe2O3. A high-magnesium montmorillonite clay, similar in function to bentonite, but with double the plasticity. Consists of 90% hectorite. Should be thoroughly mixed with warm water before adding to clay or glaze. Often used in combination with CMC. Show more
