The Machine Revival wood shift knobs are handcrafted Porsche shift knobs turned from precious woods and made to order in extremely limited numbers. The Origin Machine Revival is the Parisian workshop behind some of the most respected Porsche 911 restomods on the market. Their approach is warm and analog: every knob, wheel and accessory is treated as a functional sculpture that should feel as good as the car it lives in. The wood shift knob was born from that philosophy, a small object designed to give a vintage air-cooled cabin the tactile signature it deserves. Materials Each knob is turned by hand from one of three timbers, ash, niango and wenge, chosen for grain, density and the way each wood ages under a driver's palm. Three finishes are available: matte oiled for a raw feel, high-shine varnish for a period-correct gloss, and an engraved version that reproduces the classic gearbox grill pattern for owners who want an overt nod to motorsport heritage. Production runs are intentionally tiny, so no two batches look identical.
