Lift your greenery into the room and it becomes part of the atmosphere, not just something placed on a surface. This cotton macrame plant hanger creates a soft, knotted frame for two pots, adding height, texture and an easy sense of calm to a living room, bedroom or yoga space. How it changes the room The knotted cotton gives plants a lighter silhouette, with trailing leaves able to fall naturally through the open weave. It draws the eye upwards, useful in corners where floor space is limited but a touch of green still belongs. The natural cord brings a gentle contrast to glossy leaves, painted walls and simple ceramic pots. Its relaxed shape suits slow, homely spaces: a reading corner, a cottage kitchen, a studio, or a calm bedroom window. Hung near suitable light, it turns everyday plant care into a small visual ritual. Cotton cord, knotted in Indonesia Made from cotton and handcrafted in Indonesia, this piece has the tactile softness that makes macrame feel warm rather than hard-edged. The beauty is in the rhythm of the knots, the open structure, and the way the cord frames the plant without overwhelming it. Hanging and care Use with an appropriate ceiling or wall hook, making sure the fixing is suitable for the combined weight of the hanger, pots, soil and plants. Avoid unusually heavy ceramic pots and check the hanger carefully once filled. Cotton is best kept indoors, away from prolonged damp. Dust gently or spot clean if needed, then allow it to dry fully before rehanging. Macrame in the home Macrame is a knotting craft. Today it feels especially at home in slow-living spaces because it softens a room without adding clutter. With plants, the effect is architectural but still gentle: the cord gives structure, the leaves bring movement, and the whole piece becomes a quiet vertical garden.
