Course Date: 2nd, 9th and 16th September (6.30-8pm) Course Location: Saltash Studios, Fore Street, Saltash Macrame is a craft that naturally helps you slow down. The steady, repeat ed movements give your hands something to focus on, which makes it easier for your mind to settle. As you work knot by knot, you start to relax, breathe a little deeper, and enjoy the process. It’s a great way to take a break from busy thoughts. Suitable for beginners and intermediate this short course is 3 sessions spread over 3 weeks where you can discover macrame and make your own beautiful macrame wall hanger. In 1½‑hour sessions, you’ll be guided by Steph to explore materials type, essential knots and key techniques all while enjoying great company. This course is taught in small groups where you can get to grip with knotting at a comfortable pace with plenty of support. Each session builds on the last, and you’ll get light, enjoyable “homework” to practice your knots at home between sessions. By the end of the course, you’ll have a finished wall hanging that you created from scratch, and the skills to continue your macramé journey on your own.
