Macrocarpa is one of New Zealand's most popular firewood species β a dense hardwood that burns long and hot, and represents excellent value compared to other hardwoods. It has a pleasant, slightly sweet aroma when burning and produces a good deep bed of coals. A solid all-rounder: harder and longer-burning than pine or Lawsoniana, with great heat output that suits log burners and evening burns particularly well. Seasoned in log form for a minimum of 12 months before cutting and splitting, then shed-stored for delivery. Split to approximately 300mm β fits all modern fireplaces and log burners. π₯ Heat Output: High β± Burn Time: Long π‘ Best For: Log burners, evening burns, cost-effective hardwood Minimum order for FREE delivery is 2 cubic metres.
