925 Sterling silver Macuahuitl ("mācuahuitl") used by warriors from Mesoamerican civilizations such as Aztec, Maya, Mixtec and Toltec. This weapon was a wooden club with several em bedded obsidian blades. The name is derived from the Nahuatl language meaning "hand-wood". The macuahuitl was a standard close combat weapon.
