Acanthurus maculiceps Reef Safe The Maculiceps Tang, also known as the Spotted Tang or the Black-Spotted Tang, features a distinctive coloration with a dark brown to black body adorned with numerous small white or yellow spots. This tang is an excellent algae grazer and is generally considered reef safe, though it may exhibit mild territorial behavior, particularly towards other tangs. It thrives in well-established aquariums with ample live rock for grazing and sufficient swimming space.
