Hers: Something Old & Something New. She came to us drawn to the sculptural simplicity of our Split Bezel Sapphire Settings hoping to create a custom set that was uniquely hers. Am ong the ideas and concepts she brought to us was something deeply sentimental, an heirloom diamond passed down from her Grandmother. Unsure of how it might harmonize with her taste, she entrusted us with weaving the two concepts together. We sourced a beautiful Dark Green Teal Sapphire, and set it low and exposed in a split bezel setting to let the light in. We took her Grandmothers stone — identical in cut, and treated it with a softer more rounded setting to give the ring set a more eclectic look, and differentiate between the two stones. We accented the main diamond with two diamond rounds, graduating in size and height down the band. The result, a solitaire deco in spirit, and a nesting band that carries a love story across generations. Show more
