Gorgeous antique Beni Ourain checkered rug, handwoven by women of the Berber Tribes, high in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Thick, soft, and super floofy natural vegetable-dyed mink and black wool have been used to create this muted, punk-like checkered diamond design and weave within the rug. No two rugs are the same. The woven patterns and designs are very symbolic and personal to each weaver, making them true works of art.
