This piece is a love letter to the spirit of Toulouse-Lautrec, his bold posters and unapologetic characters and his devotion to the nightlife of Paris. I wanted to capture not perf ection , but presence- that fleeting spark of elegance and mischief. Painted in Acrylics and watercolors with hints of gold leaf in the earrings and bracelet.
