The Colli Euganei DO C sits on volcanic hills rising from the Veneto plain south of Padua, where basalt and trachyte soils give the wines a mineral grip uncommon in the broader region. Extended wood aging drives the wine toward blueberry, dried cherry, cinnamon, clove, and cocoa, with a silky tannic structure that keeps the palate concentrated without going heavy.
