Mag-Float Cleaning Magnet (Medium) Efficient Glass Cleaning for Aquariums up to 125 Gallons The Mag-Float Cleaning Magnet (Medium) combines a larger cleaning surface with strong magnetic control for routine maintenance of medium-sized glass aquariums. The external handle moves the internal abrasive cleaning section across the aquarium wall so algae can be removed without placing hands inside the water or disturbing livestock and aquascaping. The internal cleaner floats if magnetic contact is lost, making it easier to retrieve without reaching into the bottom of the aquarium. Designed for tanks up to 125 gallons with glass panels up to 3/8 inch thick, the Float-Medium provides a practical balance of cleaning coverage and manoeuvrability. Mag-Float Medium Cleaning Features Large cleaning surface covers aquarium glass efficiently Floating internal section rises for easy retrieval if separated Allows algae removal without submerging hands in aquarium water Neodymium rare-earth magnets provide strong movement through thicker glass High-grade ABS construction is suitable for freshwater and saltwater systems Can remain attached to the aquarium between cleaning sessions Can be guided carefully around aquarium corners Compatible with the optional Mag-Float scraper accessory sold separately Mag-Float Medium Specifications Manufacturer model: Float-Medium Manufacturer item number: 00125 Recommended aquarium size: Up to 125 gallons Maximum glass thickness: 3/8 inch Dimensions: 4 x 1-3/8 x 1 inch Compatible surface: Glass aquariums Aquarium type: Freshwater or saltwater Optional scraper: Sold separately UPC: 790950001256 Mag-Float Medium Compatibility/Notes This model is intended for glass aquariums only. Do not use it on acrylic panels. Confirm the aquarium's actual glass thickness before ordering because tank volume alone does not determine magnetic-cleaner compatibility. Inspect the internal cleaning pad before each use and immediately after any contact with the substrate. Sand, gravel and mineral particles trapped beneath the cleaner may scratch aquarium glass. The optional Mag-Float scraper attachment can be fitted for more persistent algae deposits. The scraper and replacement blades are available separately and are not included with the Medium cleaner. Mag-Float Medium Directions Position the internal cleaning section inside the aquarium and align the external handle on the opposite side of the glass. Bring the magnets together gradually while keeping fingers clear of the magnetic surfaces. Move the external handle slowly using overlapping horizontal or vertical passes. Avoid rapid movements that may cause the internal cleaner to separate. Keep the cleaning surface away from sand, gravel and damaged silicone seams. Separate the two sections by sliding or twisting them apart rather than pulling them directly away from the glass. Rinse both pads with clean water after use and remove any hard particles before the next cleaning session.
