The RAD Magda Stool is a simple, intentional seating option inspired by Magda Gerber, founder of RIE. Designed for toddlers and preschoolers, this backless wooden stool supports freedom of movement while providing a stable, comfortable place to sit for meals, work, and play. Handmade in our shop with RAD’s signature attention to detail and quality of materials, the Magda Stool pairs seamlessly with RAD Toddler Height Tables and RAD Preschool Height Tables. Its backless design allows children to move easily on and off the stool, supporting independence, body awareness, and natural posture. Beyond table use, many children also incorporate the stool into open ended play. 🪑 Choosing the Right Stool Height The Magda Stool is available in two heights. The most reliable way to choose the correct size is to measure from the back of your child’s knee to the floor. That measurement should be close to the seat height you select. There is some flexibility, and since children grow quickly, it is often helpful to choose a size they can grow into. 6.5 inch Toddler Height• Generally suited for children around 12 months and up, depending on development• Pairs with RAD 13 inch Toddler Height Tables 11 inch Preschool Height• Generally suited for preschool age children• Pairs with RAD 19 inch Preschool Height Tables 🪵 Key Benefits✔ Suitable for toddlers through preschool✔ Backless design allows freedom of movement✔ Inspired by Magda Gerber and RIE principles✔ Two height options to grow with your child✔ Supports up to 200 lbs✔ Can be used for seating or open ended play✔ Handmade with care in our shop 🛠 Assembly and Shipping• Ships fully assembled• No tools required 🏠 Use and Care• Designed for indoor use• May be used outdoors for short periods, but prolonged exposure to moisture and UV rays is not recommended
