Choosing yarn The Magda Sweater can be knitted with either one strand of a worsted-weight yarn (gauge approx. 18 sts / 10 cm (4")) or one strand of a DK-weight yarn (gauge approx. 20–22 sts / 10 cm (4")) held together with a strand of silk mohair or alpaca lace yarn/following thread. One alternative is Peer Gynt from Sandnes Yarn (100% Norwegian wool, 50 g = 91 m / 99.5 yd) together with a silk mohair (25 g = approx. 212 m / 232 yd).
