At 150mm diameter and 80mm depth, the base provides additional clearance for wiring terminations and back boxes where standard shallow bases cannot accommodate cable runs or where ceiling voids are restricted. Designed for commercial fire alarm installations using ESP FlexiPoint detectors and MagDuo sounders or strobes, the base accepts 2-wire systems and terminates loop cables internally before the detector or sounder device clips into place. The additional 80mm depth allows installers to fold excess cable inside the base or to fit the base over ceiling junction boxes without compressing wiring. The base material is fire-retardant thermoplastic rated for continuous operation in ambient temperatures typical of UK commercial and residential buildings.
