SAFE WALLET Design San Francisco Designer, Jake Ehrlich spent decades working on the design of what would become the MAGIC BULLET Remote control for Apple TV. He originally set out to create the ultimate Universal Remote Control that was wicked simple. Jake was really impressed with the 4th Generation Apple TV HD remote, but noticed three major weak design points: TOO SMALL: The Apple TV Remote was so small it could easily get lost in couch cushions or even on a dark table. TOO EASY TO PICK UP BACKWARDS: The Apple TV Remote was easy to use grab and try to use upside-down by mistake. Apple tried this flaw by adding the white raised exterior ring on the Apple TV 4K menu button, but it didn’t resolve this serious design defect issue.VERY AWKWARD TO HOLD: The Apple TV remote is uncomfortable to hold and not ergonomically correct in the hand. More is More The Apple TV Remote lacks contrast of shape in the sense it has a flat top and bottom, so if you grab it upside down by mistake when it’s been on your lap or on your comforter, and it flipped you can't tell very well. Many times you have to look to see if it’s upside down or backwards. When you use the MAGIC BULLET Remote for Apple TV those issues disappear, since the bottom is quite different than the top, and the front is totally different than the back. Especially if you have a bi-color MAGIC BULLET Remote. An Accident Waiting To Happen When you use the Apple TV remote by itself, it is hard to pick up since it has a flat bottom. Think about trying to pick up a piece of paper laying flat on a table. With the Magic Bullet it’s super easy.
