Cowabunga, Planeswalkers. We’re kicking off Magic Presents: It’s Turtle Time! with a shell-shocking Pick-Two Draft that’s equal parts pizza-fueled chaos and tactical brilliance. On Friday, March 27 at 6 pm, we’re cracking packs of Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and adding a radical twist that’ll make your deck-building brain do a backflip. Here’s how it works: you’ll draft in four-player pods, picking two cards at a time from each Play Booster. Three packs per player. Pass left, then right, then left. Build a 40-card deck and jump into two rounds of Swiss-style play. Clean, simple, and totally tubular. Every player starts each game with a special event emblem that powers up your Mutants, gives your Ninjas a little extra sneaky speed, and makes your Turtles come in ready to rumble. If your pod wants to go classic rules, you can all agree to opt out—but where’s the fun in that? We’re keeping this one at Casual REL, so it’s welcoming for newer players and still spicy enough for our seasoned drafters. Cap is 16 players, so don’t wait.
