Heat pump primary circuits operate at low flow temperatures and high flow rates, and their heat exchangers have tighter tolerances than boiler heat exchangers. Even small amounts of sludge, debris, or biofilm can cause COP degradation, increased running costs, and premature component failure. A filter rated for heat pump flow rates and providing first-pass capture — like the MagnaClean HP — is essential. What is CycloFlow™ Technology and why does it matter? CycloFlow™ is ADEY's patented internal geometry that induces a cyclonic spiral flow path through the canister. The 10-year warranty requires product registration with ADEY after installation. Registration can be completed at adey.com. Without registration, a standard warranty period applies. The MagnaClean HP is equally well-suited to underfloor heating manifold circuits as to heat pump primary circuits. Fit it on the return pipe upstream of the manifold or heat pump heat exchanger.
