This magnet features a design taken from our Museum collection. 'Geometric Grisaille' is one of the oldest panels on display in our Museum Gallery, made in the early 13th century b y an unknown English artist. This type of glazing - using mainly clear glass pieces to create a pattern - is associated with the Cistercian Church for whom the simplicity of design expressed a spiritual ideal.
