Whether you've watched others play and thought, "I have to learn this!" or you're brand new to the world of American MahJong, this lesson is the perfect place to start. We'll break down all the rules of game play in a fun, relaxed setting where there are no silly questions- only a great game waiting to be mastered! You'll learn everything from setting up the board and understanding the tiles to reading the card, building your hand, and calling that glorious "MahJong!" to win! By the end of our three hour lesson, you'll have the confidence to sit at any Mahjong table and play along with strategy and a smile! We supply all of the things you need to play, including the full game set up, mahjong cards, and light snacks and beverages. You are welcome to bring your own additional bites or bevys!
