The highly popular MAIJA waffle towel is made from washed linen–Tencel. Lightweight and quick-drying, it is a practical, beautiful, and environmentally friendly choice. In this material developed by Lapuan Kankurit, absorbent linen is combined with Tencel. Tencel is a European innovation made from wood pulp using environmentally responsible methods. The absorbency of MAIJA towels is activated during the production stage through a washing treatment, so they are ready to use right away. Linen–Tencel products are extremely absorbent and dry quickly, making them hygienic in everyday use. The MAIJA waffle towel is perfect as both a kitchen towel and a hand towel. This product features a hanging loop on the short side. Dimensions: 19" x 27" (48 x 70cm) Materials: Washed 43% Tencel, 39% linen, Masters of Linen and 18% cotton Care: Delicate laundry wash at 60°C in plenty of water. Wash separately. 40°C is also an adequate wash temperature. Do not use softner and bleach. Normal spin cycle. Reshape whilst damp. Linen fibres may come off the product during the wash. Check the lint filter before and after washing. The colour of natural linen becomes lighter with washing. We do not recommend tumble dryer.
