A Symbol of Honor, Good Luck, and Peace Dating back to ancient Hawaiian days, Maile lei is one of the oldest lei worn today! Its vine-like style is iconic and has been worn to represent good luck and protection. It’s also said to have healing powers. Your special someone would love it at their graduation, wedding, or another celebration! This is an open-ended lei that’s usually 6 feet in length. Due to the nature of the vine-like lei, it lacks uniformity and may have some imperfections. CRITICAL: This lei is not allowed in the State of California due to agricultural state laws. Please see our Maile Ti Leaf Lei as a popular alternative option. Plain: This lei has no orchid wrap. Please contact us to inquire about orchid wraps or other flower wraps. Lei Length: Generally 6' but it depends from Mother Nature Best For: Worn mostly by men. Great as graduation lei, wedding lei, prom lei, and for luaus. Durability: It is best to coil and gingerly place in a plastic bag, seal, and then refrigerate. Do not freeze. Lei typically stay fresh 1-1.5 weeks after you receive it and if the lei are refrigerated properly. Need Alaska, Saturday delivery, or bulk pricing?
