Produced at Distillerie Moisans, this Maison Royale Brandy XO is a blend of brandies that are at least 15-years-old, On the nose, this 15-year-old brandy is caramel and walnut. On the palate, flavors of dried apricot and poached pear with cinnamon rounding out the finish. A fine brandy for enjoying with friends. A great price point! The main grape variety used is Ugni Blanc which yields lively fresh wines that are distilled into Maison Royale brandy. The grapes used for Maison Royale brandy come from just outside the Cognac delimited area; therefore this fine brandy is not labeled with the Cognac AOC.
