The MaiTai Blackfish bottom rig is a simple double hook rig designed to fish wrecks for blackfish. They are tied with quality 40 pound monofilament, with Gamkatsu Octopus hooks. Th e leader is approximately 18 inches long with a three way swivel and sinker clip at the top, a single hook attached to a dropper loop midway down, and a single hook at the end of the leader. They work well with crabs, clams, shrimp and small pieces of cut bait. Perfect for blackfish (tautog), but also great for black sea bass, snapper, ling, whiting, and any other deep water bottom fish.
