This kit is made with secondhand materials so please allow for variation between what you see in the photo but each kit contains: four different types of fabric to patch with one iron-on patch for quick fixes a handful of buttons, safety pins, needles and pins a variety of threads to get you stitching Pantry items are selected at random. When you’re looking for a set of supplies to explore a new medium, figuring out what you actually need can be overwhelming and cost-prohibitive. Make & Mend was born out of a desire to change that narrative. Established in 2017 by Somerville artist Emily Tirella, Make & Mend is working to remove the financial barriers to creation by offering gently used art supplies at an accessible rate for seasoned artists and first-timers alike.
