During this three hour class we will cover the tools, safety, techniques, and step by step process to make your own. Learn how to torch (shou sugi ban) the piece to give it a more interesting look. Minimum age 18 years old. Class FAQ: Students will have access to all tools required for this class, all materials will be provided. Taking note is a good thing, along with sketches, so bring a notebook and pencil. You'll be in a working shop, so dress expecting to get some sawdust on your clothing, with no dangling clothing or jewelry. Plan to attend all classes, we do not offer make-up sessions at this point or refunds for missed classes. If you need to cancel, you must notify us before class starts. You will receive credit towards another class or time.
