We think having unblocked access to a pooled collection of funding is a smart, secure way for people to get support. We organized this fund a few years ago to connect individual trans folk with funds that they can self-determine and receive in privacy if they choose. Here’s how it works: Each donation our business receives goes into the fund. At least one item in our shop generates funding each month. One or more applicants are randomly selected at the month’s end. We send the funding in-full to existing gofundme accounts. Simple as that.
